It is fun to plan and change things for the better here at The Wedding House. It’s just one idea after another; they come in rapid succession, and the wheels in my brain start spinning, and before you know it, I’ve spent thousands of dollars on something that 3 days prior was not even a consideration. The most recent ‘idea’ is regarding the front yard, and the porch, and the possibilities of one of the best photo ops of the Grand Mesa to be had.
You might want a small, intimate wedding, and if so, the front yard will be a great place to have one! Removing the existing rose bushes, and replacing them with grass, adding a half circle concrete extension off the front of the porch, and covering the steps and porch with thin brick, will result in a picture perfect place for the bride to enter her aisle, meet her escort, and proceed to her groom. The Grand Mesa will be your spectacular background while you say your vows to one another.
This project begins today!…………Can you say, “Murphy’s Law?” I can, and do on many occasions! I woke up this morning to a pretty little dusting of snow on the ground, and it is almost an hour past the time for the man who is going to work all this ‘magic’ for me to show up. This is nothing new, actually, and to all of you who birth ideas of fantasy projects, take it from me, add about a week to the length of your project to leave room for Murphy’s Law.
