Is Valentine’s Day just a Hallmark conspiracy as some would suggest?
Or is it a day that is full of wonder and love and selfless creativity?? …a day one might set aside for expressing one’s LOVE! A person would wish to reflect upon what LOVE is, or at least what it means to them before they would set out to express this to their loved ONES. A researcher at heart would Google it, …and find the Webster’s definition, God’s definition, (I Corinthian’s chapter 13) and Hallmark’s definition…and hopefully ponder the three, combine them, and begin their quest!
Money is not the issue…I urge reflection upon this…ONE rose that costs $2.00 can mean more to the recipient than a roomful of buds and blooming bouquets if given some thought as to how to bestow it! It is all in the wrist! lol One heartfelt line from the depths of your heart can mean more than the sugary expressions on a purchased card if some thought is given to the presentation! (a piece of beautiful paper…a heart-shaped card with sharpie decorations…some paper…some glue(stick) …EXPRESS yourself with words and art and let your love overflow in the simplest forms! These are the things of memories!
Sing accapella a love song into your love’s voicemail. Take a chance! Be vulnerable…these are the gifts we remember!
